APPLICATION
Step 1: Sanitise the nail and clean the surrounding nail plate. Push cuticles back and remove any excess cuticle with a cuticle knife and nippers.
Step 2: Shape the natural nail to the desired length and shape.
Step 3: Gently remove the shine on the nail plate using a nail buffer block.
Step 4: Remove any dust using a nail brush, wipe the nail with a nail cleanser on a lint-free wipe.
Step 5: Apply a thin coat of a Nail Prep bonder to the nail plate, this helps to remove any excess oil left on the nail plate and helps the nail and gel bond.
Step 6: Apply a very thin coat of Base Coat Gel, avoiding the cuticles sealing the edge of the nail.
Step 7: Cure by Placing fingers in your LED or UV Lamp )for 1 minute. (Different lamps vary in times - read their instructions
Step 8: Apply a thin coat of your chosen Mermaid Glitter Gel with a gel brush. Apply to the entire nail plate from cuticle to free edge, making sure to seal the free edge and avoiding product on the cuticle.
Step 9: Cure for 30 seconds in your LED lamp, or 1 minute with your UV lamp. (Different lamps vary in times - read their instructions)
Step 10: Repeat stages 9-10 to even the coverage.
Step 11: Apply a thin coat of Top Coat to the entire nail from cuticle to free edge, making sure to seal the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in your LED Light or 2 minutes in your UV Light. (Different lamps vary in times - read their instructions)
Step 12: Remove the tacky layer if you have not used a no wipe top coat with Nail Cleanser on a lint-free wipe.
Step 13: Massage Cuticle Oil into skin surrounding the nail plate.
REMOVAL
Step 1: Gently file the surface of the gel with a 100/180 Grit Buffer until you have removed the shine.
Step 2: Soak a cotton pad with remover and wrap each nail in foil. Soak for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Remove foil. With an orange wood stick or cuticle pusher, gently remove any remaining gel. Be careful not to press into the nail.
Step 4: Lightly buff nail surface with a 200/280 Buffer.
Step 5: Massage Cuticle Oil into skin surrounding the nail plate.
